Collection of Application forms via POA e-Platform (ePOA)

Date:     19-27 September 2024 (till 11:59 p.m.)

In line with the “Smart Government” strategy, the Education Bureau (EDB) has fully implemented digitalization of POA. Parents can choose to submit the applications form. Please refer to the related videos and Parent’s Guide on the EDB’s website (www.edb.gov.hk/en/edu-system/primary-secondary/spa-systems/primary-1-admission/poa_eplatform/index.html) for details of the procedures for creating an ePOA account and submitting applications for discretionary places via ePOA.

 

Remarks:             You have to upload the copies of: –

a)  i) The applicant child’s Hong Kong Birth Certificate (If the Hong Kong permanent resident status in the last column of the Birth Certificate is ‘Not Established’, his / her travel document(s) or Permit to Remain in Hong Kong are required);

ii) In the absence of a Hong Kong Birth Certificate, parent / guardian should bring along the applicant child’s Birth Certificate (overseas) and document(s) permitting him / her to stay in Hong Kong.

b) Birth Certificate and school handbook of applicant child’s sibling, if claiming applicant child’s sibling is studying in our school.

c) Birth Certificate of applicant child’s sibling and graduate certificate of applicant child’s sibling / parent, if claiming applicant sibling or parent’s graduate relationship.

d) Proof of residential address with the name of applicant child’s parent / guardian. (e.g. stamped tenancy agreement, demand note for rates, public housing tenancy agreement or water / electricity / town gas / residential telephone bills, etc.)

 

 

Collection of Application forms in our school

Date:     23-27 September 2024

Time:     9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Venue: Li Cheng Uk Government Primary School (LCU)

Remarks:             You have to bring the original and photocopy of: –

a) The parent / guardian’s Identity Card, Passport or other identity documents.

b) i) The applicant child’s Hong Kong Birth Certificate (If the Hong Kong permanent resident status in the last column of the Birth Certificate is ‘Not Established’, his / her travel document(s) or Permit to Remain in Hong Kong are required);

ii) In the absence of a Hong Kong Birth Certificate, parent / guardian should bring along the applicant child’s Birth Certificate (overseas) and document(s) permitting him / her to stay in Hong Kong.

c) Birth Certificate and school handbook of applicant child’s sibling, if claiming applicant child’s sibling is studying in our school.

d) Birth Certificate of applicant child’s sibling and graduate certificate of applicant child’s sibling, if claiming sibling or parent’s graduate relationship.

e) Proof of residential address with the name of applicant child’s parent / guardian. (e.g. stamped tenancy agreement, demand note for rates, public housing tenancy agreement or water / electricity / town gas / residential telephone bills, etc.)

f) The letter of authorization (parent / guardian signing the application form cannot come in person)

 

 

 

Release of Discretionary Places Admission Results:

Date:     18 November 2024 (Monday)

Time:     9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Remarks:

  • The results will be posted at School Lobby and on School Website. Parents can view the results via ePOA as well.
  • If there are applicants with equal scores under the Point System and the number of these applicants exceeds the remaining Discretionary Place Quota. Our school will invite the Education Bureau to draw lots for us.
  • The personal data provided will be used by the Education Bureau for Primary One Places Allocation only. You have the right of access and correction with respect to any personal data provided.

 

 

Registration of successful applicants:

Date:     20-21 November 2024 (Wednesday and Thursday)

Time:     9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Remark: Details of Registration will be provided on 18 November 2024.
